|I was exposed to photography at the beginning of senior high school. After seeing my first Black and White print appear in the developing tray, I was immediately hooked and made the decision that I would pursue photography as my career. |
After graduating, I joined the U.S. Army where I became a photojournalist covering military events and social functions.
With honorable discharge from the military in hand, I pursued my dream by searching for colleges that offered photography courses with a fine arts journalistic foundation.
I received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the School of Visual Arts. Along with developing a career Exhibiting and doing commercial projects, I have been a Wedding Photographer for over ten years.
Drawing on my Educational training from the School of Visual Arts, my approach to doing weddings is from a photojournalistic/fine arts point of view. When I photograph my weddings ten percent are formal shots of the immediate family and the bridal party, and the rest are candid and spontaneous fun shots.
What I really enjoy, and what my clients always seem to respond to, is catching poignant, humorous, and other special moments while being inconspicuous as a photographer.
